As Director of Partnerships at the Unstoppable Foundation, I spend every day bringing sustainable solutions, hope and life-saving services to impoverished families in rural Kenya. For almost 8 years, I’ve been living my ultimate dream by partnering with our global community of compassionate, visionary philanthropists, saving and empowering young lives through education as part of the Unstoppable Foundation Development Team.

A clean, healthy lifestyle energizes my unwavering drive to embrace my commitment to my work. I live by my mantra of God first, and my greatest joys are being a wife, mother, and grandmother. I live in Southern Nevada with my husband Gordon and our Italian Bull Mastiff, Sam.

I’m Janet Driver, Director of Partnerships at Unstoppable, and I’d love to share how I came to be part of this incredible mission.

Years ago, as a young mom volunteering with shelters for battered women and organizations supporting children with terminal cancer, I made a promise to myself: once my kids were grown, I would dedicate my life to making a real difference. After decades in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, I transitioned to freelance work so I could care for my aging parents. One of the companies I worked with produced Unstoppable’s blacktie gala, and I supported the team behind the scenes. That was my first introduction to the Foundation.

A few years later, Unstoppable needed a last-minute, six-week fill-in on the gala team. I stepped in—just days after my mother’s unexpected passing. I was deep in grief and unsure how I would cope. But in those early days, something remarkable happened. Immersed in Unstoppable’s mission, my focus shifted. Instead of dwelling on loss, I found myself pouring into life—specifically, helping bring hope and opportunity to children in Kenya. Their resilience and dreams breathed life back into me. Giving didn’t just help others—it became my way of healing.

We often think generosity is about what we give. But I discovered how profoundly it can change us. Through Unstoppable, I found purpose, growth, and transformation. That sixweek role became a calling—and I never left. The dream I once had to help change the world? This role has far exceeded it.
